Greetings! My name is Jimmy Green. Some say I was born in the wrong era because of my love of the old west. Whether it’s the style of clothes, the wooden spokes of a stagecoach, the pearl handle of a colt 45, or a gun fight in the street - I love it all! And I thoroughly enjoy capturing those element on canvas.

Using acrylic paints on canvas is my medium of choice. I find the use of acrylics allows the color blending and texture to demonstrate the best outcome of olde western artwork.

Old western history of the 1800’s is a true passion of mine. From the majestic scenery to the shootout at OK Corral - and everything in between - putting those colors to canvas is …… well….. maybe just how the west was won! One of my true inspirations is the town too tough to die - Tombstone, AZ
